While it is widely known or popular that most couples will pursue a wedding album to document and tell the story of their big day, you don't see as many ordering engagement albums.  An engagement session is often more relaxed, without the restrictions of tight timelines, weather conditions that cannot be avoided, or having only one set of attire to shoot in.  For this reason and the fact that it can be even more personalized in some cases, I think and engagement album can be a really amazing thing to have.
