Every now and then, I get an opportunity to shoot something much different than the norm when it comes to what I’m used to and it’s a lot of fun for me to document a difference experience. This was definitely the case with Danielle & Dave’s wedding. Don’t get me wrong, I love what I do and working at all the great places I do, however there is something special to be said for an intimate wedding (basically family) with only 60 people at a beautiful location. No stress, no rushing to get to this place or that place…. just pure documentation of the day in it’s purest form without a care in the world other than focusing on the work I love to create. This was also my first time shooting at The Mansion Inn and was blown away by what an amazing place and high level of service and food they have (Special thanks to Lori and staff). This is definitely an amazing place for those of you looking to have an intimate wedding…. each room was incredible when it came to suites for the bride or family, with each more amazing than the last.
Danielle & Dave have been so amazing to get to know and work with…. I can’t say I’ve ever met or worked with a more carefree couple when it came to someone’s wedding – it was such a rare treat for me and had so much fun spending the day with them and their families. I’m excited to post some of my favorite images of the day below. For those interested, we’ll have all images ready for online viewing & ordering within a few days and you can preregister at the link below for this:
P.S. for all you photography buffs out there, this was my very first wedding shot with the all new Canon 5D Mark III!
